See the housing total, its share of take-home pay, and what remains after the costs and savings goal you enter.
What this budget shows
The result separates base housing from recurring housing-related bills, then shows the combined housing ratio against the take-home pay you enter. It also shows the cash remaining after debt, other essentials, and your savings goal.
Use actual bills when available. A percentage target cannot see your lease, commute, household, health, childcare, debt, emergency reserve, or job situation.

Questions people ask
What counts as a monthly housing budget?
Start with rent or a housing payment, then add utilities, internet, insurance, parking, and other recurring housing-related costs. Review transportation, debt, food, and savings separately for the full cash-flow picture.
Does 30% mean my housing budget is safe?
No. A percentage is only a reference. Debt, dependents, transportation, health costs, job stability, savings, and local expenses may make a lower or higher figure appropriate.
Does the calculator send my financial inputs anywhere?
The core calculation is performed in your browser. ToolVerse does not intentionally send your entered financial values as analytics parameters.
