Generate UUIDs (v4)
Choose how many you need and generate a fresh set — one per line, ready to paste.

When NOT to use UUID Generator
- UUIDs are identifiers, not secrets — don't use them as passwords, tokens, or anything an attacker must not guess in security-critical flows without rate limiting.
- If your database or spec needs a different UUID version (time-ordered v7, namespace-based v3/v5), this generator only produces random v4 values.
Questions people ask
Is my input sent to a server?
No. This tool runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Nothing you paste is uploaded, stored, or sent anywhere.
Are these real UUIDs?
Yes — version 4 UUIDs generated with your browser's cryptographic random source (crypto.getRandomValues), the same mechanism used by professional tools.
Can two generated UUIDs ever collide?
In practice, no. A v4 UUID has 122 random bits; you would need to generate billions before a collision becomes remotely plausible.
