100% private & fair. Entries never leave your browser, and the draw uses a cryptographic Fisher–Yates shuffle — every entry has an exactly equal chance.

When NOT to use Random Picker
- For regulated promotions, sweepstakes, or anything with legal or monetary stakes, use your official audited draw process — this is an everyday fairness tool, not a certified draw service.
- It can't detect duplicate people entered under different names or spellings.
Questions people ask
How random is it, really?
It uses your browser's cryptographic random generator (crypto.getRandomValues) with rejection sampling and unbiased shuffling — the same quality of randomness used by security software, not the predictable Math.random().
What does remove-after-pick do?
When it's on, each picked entry is removed from the pool, so sequential draws (1st prize, 2nd prize…) can never repeat a winner.
Do blank lines or duplicates matter?
Blank lines are ignored. Duplicate entries are kept as separate entries — a name pasted twice has two chances, which is usually what you want for weighted entries.
